Wax & Wick

Handcrafted with a coconut-soy wax blend and a 100% pure cotton wick.

Candle Care
  • Trim the cotton wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn and remove any loose wick trimmings or debris.
  • Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Remove the cork or lid before lighting.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn for no more than four hours at a time and allow the vessel to cool completely before moving or relighting.
  • Stop burning when approximately ½ inch of wax remains. Never burn a candle in a cracked or damaged vessel.
Repurposing Vessel

For apothecary glass jars and sampler glass jars only. These glass vessels can hold small keepsakes, jewelry, desk supplies, or dried flowers once the candle is finished. This repurposing guidance does not apply to the black tin.

Let the candle cool completely. Gently remove the remaining wax and wick tab without using sharp tools, then hand-wash the glass with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Keep wax out of drains. Avoid boiling water, sudden temperature changes, and abrasive cleaning that could damage the vessel or label.

Use for decorative storage only; food safety has not been confirmed. Do not reuse a damaged jar or refill it as a candle.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping: Orders usually ship within 3–5 days; we aim for next-day dispatch whenever possible. We currently ship within the United States only. Most orders arrive within about 7–10 days of purchase. Delivery times are estimates, and busy holiday periods or carrier delays may add time.

Returns & exchanges: Unused, unlit candles may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Contact us with your order number for return instructions. Returned items must be in resalable condition; use original packaging where possible. Customers pay return shipping unless the item arrived damaged. Refunds or exchanges are processed after the return arrives; original shipping charges are not refundable, except where required by law. Burned candles cannot be returned.

Arrived damaged? Do not light the candle. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. If safe, photograph the damaged item and packaging, and email your order number and photos to thebrightonflame@gmail.com so we can verify the damage and arrange a replacement. Do not mail broken glass back without instructions. This reporting window does not limit your rights under applicable law.
